Privacy Policy
This policy explains the baseline handling of personal information on the Team Truth website and during Stripe subscription checkout.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Who is responsible
Team Truth AI is the working business name used in this policy. The final policy must identify the registered legal entity, company number, registered address and data-protection contact before launch.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and business details supplied through enquiries, onboarding and checkout.
- Subscription details, selected seat quantity, invoices and payment status.
- Technical information needed to operate, secure and diagnose the website.
- Communications and support records.
3. Payment information
Stripe processes payment credentials and authentication directly on its hosted checkout. Team Truth does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. We receive identifiers, billing details, payment status and subscription information needed to administer the service. Stripe's own privacy policy also applies to its processing.
4. Why we use information
- To provide, bill, support and secure the contracted service.
- To respond to requests and take steps before entering a contract.
- To meet accounting, fraud-prevention and legal obligations.
- To pursue legitimate interests in improving and protecting the business, where those interests do not override individual rights.
5. Sharing and processors
Information may be shared with vetted service providers that support hosting, payments, communications, security and professional advice. Stripe processes checkout and billing data. A complete processor list, contractual safeguards and any international-transfer mechanism must be confirmed before launch.
6. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described, including the subscription relationship, support, security, legal claims and accounting requirements. Final retention periods must be documented in Team Truth's operational retention schedule.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. Stripe-hosted Checkout keeps payment details out of this website. No internet service is completely secure, so suspected incidents should be reported promptly.
8. Individual rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and complain to a supervisory authority. UK complaints can be made to the Information Commissioner's Office. Requests can be sent to the contact below and may require identity verification.
9. Cookies and external services
The current marketing site does not intentionally set advertising cookies. Stripe and other linked services may use their own essential technologies on their domains. Any future analytics or marketing cookies must be assessed and, where required, placed behind valid consent.
10. Contact
Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to shayne@teamtruth.ai. The final policy must include a postal contact address.
